The successful Associate would be expected to provide regulatory and technical writing support to federal agency clients on their rulemakings and related supporting documents (e.g., economic impact, environmental, and paperwork burden analyses); analyze, summarize and help develop responses to public comments; perform research relating to issues affecting agencies?? regulatory programs; assess and evaluate the effectiveness of rules and federal programs; and provide other regulatory implementation and outreach support. You will assist on engagements for federal government clients who develop and implement regulatory programs affecting energy, the environment, homeland security, public health, nutrition and food/drug safety, employment and training, trade, transportation, and other national priorities. The position will be located in Fairfax, VA.What You'll Need to Have:Experience with federal regulation developmentUnderstanding the Federal regulatory development process, including key executive orders and OMB orders and circularsJD, MPP, or master's degree in government, public administration, law, environmental or energy management, natural or physical science, or related subjects (or comparable experience)Minimum GPA of 3.0Strong attention to detail and great communication skillsProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to obtain and maintain a high level government clearanceICF offers an excellent benefits package, an award winning talent development program, and fosters a highly skilled, energized and empowered workforce.ICF is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
